.yachts

.yachts is a generic top-level domain focused on yachts and the businesses, destinations and services around recreational or luxury boating. The plural form is especially natural for inventories and marketplaces.

The extension can suit yacht brokers, dealers, builders, charter companies, marinas, maintenance services, travel businesses and specialist media. A brand, location or vessel category before .yachts can create a clear marine identity.

The namespace originally launched with registrant eligibility verification, but ICANN later approved removal of that verification for .yachts, .autos, .homes and .motorcycles. Standard .yachts registration is therefore no longer limited to verified industry participants.

A .yachts domain does not prove ownership of a vessel, broker licensing, charter authorization, seaworthiness or affiliation with a manufacturer. Those facts need separate verification.

VYR classifies .yachts as open, subject to registry and ICANN policies, reserved or premium names and third-party rights.
