.singles

.singles is a generic top-level domain centered on the idea of single people or single items. In practice, the strongest association is with dating, social events and communities for people who are not in relationships.

The extension can suit dating services, singles events, social clubs, travel groups and content aimed at single adults. It may also be used in retail or collecting contexts where “singles” describes individual items, although that meaning is less immediate for many visitors.

Because the dating interpretation is strong, a project using another meaning should make its context clear. The extension itself does not verify age, identity, safety or compatibility of users on a dating or social service.

.singles is an open generic top-level domain. Standard registrations are generally available through participating registrars, subject to registry and ICANN policies, reserved names, premium names and third-party rights.

Operators of social or dating platforms remain responsible for privacy, safety and applicable consumer rules.
