.nexus

.nexus is a generic top-level domain built around the idea of a connection, central point or link between different things. The word is common in technology, communities, research and organizations that bring people or systems together.

Google Registry presents .nexus as a central hub for projects, APIs, platforms and communities. It can suit developer ecosystems, integrations, professional networks, knowledge hubs and brands whose value comes from connecting different services or groups.

The extension is not tied to one industry or membership category, which gives it broad branding flexibility. A .nexus address does not prove that a site is the official hub of a community or that integrations described there are endorsed by third parties.

.nexus is on the HSTS preload list, so HTTPS is required for all website connections.

VYR classifies .nexus as open, subject to Google Registry and ICANN policies, reserved names and third-party rights.
