.navy

.navy is a generic top-level domain built around the military term for a naval service and, in other contexts, the dark-blue color known as navy.

The extension can suit military-history projects, veteran communities, maritime content, color-based brands and other lawful sites where “navy” is central to the name. The second-level label should make the intended meaning clear.

The current ICANN Registry Agreement is Base / Non-Sponsored. Standard registration therefore does not require proof of naval service, government status or authorization from a defense organization.

A .navy domain must not be treated as evidence that a website is operated or endorsed by an official navy. Registrants should avoid false government affiliation and respect protected names and marks.

VYR classifies .navy as open, subject to registry and ICANN policies, reserved names and third-party rights.
