.locker

.locker is a generic top-level domain built around the idea of storage, a personal space or a secure place for digital or physical items. Its meaning can work for sports, schools, storage services, personal collections and technology brands.

The current registry operator is Orange Domains LLC, and ICANN lists .locker under a Base / Non-Sponsored Registry Agreement. Ordinary registrations are available through participating accredited registrars rather than being restricted to a particular profession or community.

The registry also promotes services that can connect a conventional DNS .locker domain with a corresponding Web3-oriented digital identity. That optional ecosystem should not be confused with the basic domain registration itself: a .locker name remains a standard DNS domain and can be used for ordinary websites and email.

A .locker domain does not guarantee encryption, secure storage or ownership of digital assets merely because of its name.

VYR classifies .locker as open, subject to registry and ICANN policies, reserved names and third-party rights.
