.hockey

.hockey is a generic top-level domain centered on hockey. Depending on the audience, that can include ice hockey, field hockey and other forms of the sport.

The extension can suit clubs, teams, leagues, coaching, equipment retailers, statistics, fan communities, tournaments and sports media. A team, location or discipline before .hockey can create an immediately recognizable sports address.

Because the word covers more than one form of hockey, the second-level name or site content should make the intended sport clear when ambiguity is possible.

A .hockey domain does not imply affiliation with the NHL, IIHF, FIH, a national federation, league, team or player unless that relationship actually exists. Trademark and media rights remain separate from domain registration.

.hockey is an open generic top-level domain. Standard registrations are generally available through participating registrars, subject to registry and ICANN policies, reserved names, premium classifications and third-party rights.
