.diy

.diy is a generic top-level domain based on the familiar abbreviation for “do it yourself”. It naturally suggests practical projects, making, repair, home improvement and instructional content.

The extension can suit tutorials, craft communities, makers, home-improvement businesses, repair guides, tool brands and creators who teach people how to build or fix things themselves. A subject such as furniture, electronics or gardening before .diy can create a highly descriptive learning destination.

Do-it-yourself instructions can involve tools, electricity, chemicals, structural work or other safety risks. A .diy domain does not guarantee that instructions are accurate, professionally reviewed or suitable for every user. High-risk projects should be approached with appropriate expertise and safety guidance.

Internet Naming Co. currently lists .diy among its available TLDs.

VYR classifies .diy as open, subject to registry and ICANN policies, reserved names and third-party rights.
