.day

.day is a generic top-level domain designed around dates, occasions and moments that matter. It can turn a subject into a compact phrase such as a celebration day, awareness day or event day.

The extension can suit weddings, birthdays, campaigns, causes, annual events, commemorations, calendars and temporary event sites. Google Registry presents .day as a place to mark celebrations and bring attention to causes, which makes the TLD particularly natural when a specific day is central to the project.

.day is also a secure namespace on the HSTS preload list. HTTPS is required for all web connections, so a functioning .day website needs a valid certificate and HTTPS configuration.

The domain does not make an event official or verify that a commemorative date is recognized by a government, organization or community.

VYR classifies .day as open, subject to Google Registry and ICANN policies, reserved names and third-party rights.
