.christmas

.christmas is a generic top-level domain built around the Christmas holiday and the seasonal activity surrounding it. Its meaning is immediate and strongly tied to a particular time of year.

It can suit Christmas retailers, events, charities, gift guides, seasonal media, tourism and festive campaigns. A product, place or organization name before .christmas can create a memorable seasonal address.

The seasonal focus is also the main limitation. A business that operates year-round may find the domain more useful for a campaign, seasonal store or content section than for its permanent primary brand.

A .christmas domain does not indicate affiliation with a religious organization, charity, event organizer or retailer unless that relationship actually exists.

.christmas operates under a standard non-sponsored ICANN Registry Agreement, so VYR classifies ordinary registration as open, subject to registry policies, reserved names and third-party rights.
